Course Overview

Many people believe that when the sun goes down, so does the camera. But many exciting images can be achieved after dark. Join us for an exciting evening discussing the finer points of focusing, exposing, and composing after the dark.

• Fireworks, Milky Way Galaxy, moon, and downtown night scenes
• Building an exposure without referencing your meter
• Histograms, bulb more, and the 18% gray rule
• Using highlights and shadows in low light
