Why Should You Rent Equipment?
Try Before you Buy–
Before you decide to make that investment, wouldn’t it be nice to know for sure this is the lens for you? Rent your dream lens and remove the anxiety from your purchase decision by knowing you’re buying the right gear.
Plus, if you decide you can’t live without the piece of equipment you rented, we’ll apply 50% of one day’s rental fee to the purchase of the same piece of equipment when you purchase within 14 days of your rental!
Challenging Situation–
Low light issue? Nature setting? Sports environment? Architectural? Why settle - use the right lens for the right situation and get the right shot.
Short Term Project –
Why buy if you only need the equipment a short period of time? Renting provides a great solution for a short-term or periodic need.
Backup–
Already have your equipment, but can’t afford to be without a spare for your critical project? A rental provides that peace of mind you need to know you’re prepared should your primary equipment fail.
Budget Constraint–
You want that 200-400 VR for the weekend soccer game but parting with $7,000 isn’t in your budget? Rent it.

Terms and Conditions Overview
Rental Charges and Times:
Rental fees are computed on a 24-hour/daily basis only. There are no half-day or hourly rates. The weekly rate is four times the daily rate. The weekly rate is for a seven-day period. Monthly rates are three times the weekly rate. The rental period begins at the pick-up time and all rentals are due no later than 4:00 pm on the return day. Rentals returned after 4:00 pm on the return day will be assessed another day’s rental. Rentals returned after the return day will be subject to rental fees for each day late.
WEEKEND RENTALS:
Rentals picked up after 3pm Friday and returned by 12:00 noon on Monday will be charged as 1 ½ day rental instead of 2 day. If rental is not returned by 12:00 noon on Monday the extra ½ day will be charged to your card.
Deposits:
Any individual or company wishing to rent equipment from Calagaz Photo must have a valid drivers license and a major credit card. Cash deposit customers must pay in advance for the rental equipment. Deposits for the full replacement value of equipment will be required for all rental customers. Only Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover are accepted.
NO CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED FOR DEPOSIT. NO EXCEPTIONS!
