ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:

Jason Stewart : Nikon Technical Sales Representative

Jason joined the Nikon family in 2003. His current duties as a Technical Sales Representative are working with Nikon customers to help them make better photographs with their Nikon cameras. As well as working to train specialty photo store staffs on the newest of advancements in Nikon technologies.

"After receiving a camera for my 15th birthday, I quickly grew more and more interested in photography. The passion continued throughout the following years of school. I worked on a small news paper, shot photos of family and friends weddings. But the thing that really grabbed my interest was when I got a job taking product photographs for a small promotional company's catalog. This exposed me to working with light and learning to control light."

Important Requirements:

Nikon will provide flash units, but you will need to bring your own Nikon camera.

Non-Nikon cameras will not function with this event!

Recommended Cameras:

Nikon D90, D7000 and D300s, as all these cameras have the wireless commander system built-in.

Recommended Lenses:

Nikkor lenses that focus closer than about 5 ft., moderate telephoto (80-135mm).

Note to owners of a D40, D40x, D60, D70, D70s, D5000, D5100, D3 and D3x: 

You may participate in this workshop but may need to provide an additional item to trigger the different groups of Nikon flashes wirelessly.
